If you have an optical digital input use that it transfers 5.1 sound or you could use the rca cables to hook it in but that wouldn't have very good sound

yea it doesnt seem as loud thru the RCA's...i will have to upgrade my system soon...

When your playing a movie, press triangle. A menu will appear with symbols. Select audio controls and bump the output to the desired volume.
