Every movie is worthy of Blu.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it shouldn't be on Blu.

the real concern is, are all transfers and treatments worthy of blu, because i agree all movies are worthy of blu, as long as corners arn't cut

Death Trance with Tak Sakaguchi was a great nod to that also.

This is terrific news! Blue Underground put out some very fine DVDs. My wish list from them:

The Final Countdown (Please give us a cool lenticular cover again)
The Bird with the Crystal Plummage
Suspiria
Ralph Bakshi and Frank Frazetta's "Fire and Ice"
Circle of Iron
Dead & Buried
Q, the Winged Serpent
Shock Waves

Hopefully, Dark Sky Films isn't far behind. I'd love to get my hands on the Amicus Collection as well as Magic starring Anthony Hopkins, Ann Margret and Burgess Meredith.

The same can be said about DVD (ref. Good Times Video and Madacy releases). Just because it's a HD format doesn't mean that every transfer needs to be flawless.

I can pretty much guarantee that these are going to be pretty crappy. But, they'll still be nice to have.

Its comments like this that make me believe Blu-ray will remain a niche format or worse become stereotyped as a PS3 format...

Anway, looking forward to a good amount of titles from Blue-Underground. If City Of The Living Dead gets remastered and put on Blu-ray I will be one happy camper! Also throw in Zombie, The New York Ripper, Maniac, Suspiria and I will be glad to fork over $30 a piece!!!!

Blue-Underground going Blu-ray is great news!!!!

Agreed. I will be buying alot of these movies when they are released.

They are very worthy, esp after watching Vengaence of the Zombies... looked awesome.

Can't wait for Zombie, Crazies, The Beyond, Tombs of the Blind Dead and many many more!

Kirk Douglas, Martin Sheen, James Farentino and Charles Durning.

6.6/10 on IMDB (not too bad).

Gary
I have their DVD release of Final Countdown and when I first watched it I was really impressed at how clean the transfer looked. I would dearly love to see this movie on Blu!

This would be a triple dip for me since I bought both Pacific's (horrible) DVD release and Blue Underground's.

I can't wait to see those F-14s rip into the Zeros in full 1080p

It's too bad Final Countdown is such an underappreciated film - I can only imagine how cool an alternate-history flick like this would be if done with current special effects.
