You should rent the series and watch that first and then the movie. A lot of things will fall into place better that way.

I also love the new Terminator show. See all the Firefly shows before you watch Serenity. It helps you get to know the characters.

Hopefully Serenity will be in the first batch of Universal releases to BD. The wait on these titles or announcment of titles is getting stressful. Bring it...
