For the amount of threads I see on here about Firefly/Serenity, they had better release the first season with loseless audio soon!

The commercials looked good, but never got to see it in the theatre... is this worth a blind buy?

I liked 5th Element, Sunshine, 2001, Star Wars, Event Horizon, and other sci-fi like Dark City and 13th floor... think I'll like Serenity???

No doubt. I got it on HD DVD, and it'll definitely make a great buy on Blu.

It's based on the failed television show Firefly. If you are not familiar with the show I would suggest renting the movie and not doing a blind buy. That being said I enjoyed both the show and the film, sci-fi comedy's are rarely this good.

You need to give it a chance though. It doesn't always create a good first impression.

without a doubt. pick it up. you'll be very happy with it. The chick who plays the new terminator girl is in it.

Hopefully this should be coming soon since it has been out on HD DVD since the launch of that format. One can only hope though.
