How do you get in the negatives? I can go MIN Volume to MAX, no negatives...? So confused...

Those are for different models - it's a straight 1 to 100 with the 605.

I was running blu-ray movies at 70 as well until I changed the audio setting of my Samsuck 1200 to bitstream from PCM and now 50 sounds quite loud and 60 is ear shattering. Polk speakers are at 89db sensitivity.

I have a 605 and I will put mine at around 65 for lossless and around 70 for lossy movies. Not much music listenin' though, so not sure about those.
