When I bought one of the Spiderman movies I got a free trick-or-treat bag just like the DVD version and when I bought Night at the Museum, I got the free dinosaur toy just like the DVD version. At least one other time, I could have gotten the free item but I didn't ask for it (I think it was with the Resident Evil trilogy, they had a bag/backpack type of thing for free).

I do understand your point but I don't think it has been all that bad so far.

I hate Best Buy. I see no reason why ANY single company should get exclusives. Boycott Best Buy.

DIAF
Exclusives are there to appease both the companies (they drive in business) and the collectors. You know, the people that will stand in line to get an item the first day because of a limited edition somethingorother thingy?
There is nothing at all wrong with exclusive accessories, packaging, etc. They neither add to nor take away from the actual product.
