Why was the half.com coupon thread deleted, mods plz?

still doesnt explain how he got that many codes... I mean I have sent people codes, and IF they buy something and are a first time user, then it would send me a code back, Id then buy something, half is still getting paid, and I'ved used half alot of times since then without coupons... so their marketing method proves worthy.

I dont see how he can get codes that are valid even for users who have already purchased .... cause thats what he was giving out... so its a lil more complex then those 2 links wicky as I've read those before top to bottom.

Its like as if I sent out 20 take5's to 20 NEW users and they all bought someting (never happens) and then I turned around and just gave my codes away so otehrs could get the discounts...

so he wasnt getting paid, unless he said new users only... but even thats not wrong, just a chain-game, everyone wins, users and half.

How he got codes that work for anyone... no idea.

the way i see it is Wicky tried to use those codes and they wouldnt work for him so he got pissed and closed it haha jk wicky

You are joking about him making money right! He was getting new member codes using the reference on the take five. Whenever somebody uses a new member code, he receives an old member code; the code you believe he is making money on. He then in turn posted that code for old members to use, thus all the jokes by old members. He was in no way being selfish. Even if he did keep a code or two, which I believe he kept non, he provided lots of help for new and old members of half.com.

you know thats prob right but nothing u guys say is going to change their mind they put a lot of time and effort to this site and if they dont want something on here its not going to be so lets just be happy we were able to use the codes while it lasted I mean I myself used a couple of them and was very fortunate that op posted them for everyone on here

It doesnt seem like he is making money from it...But if he was why would that be a bad thing?...I guess it doesnt matter tho...i had a post deleted and got a warning for something that didnt make sense...when i see some people post and have threads with foul language or insulting people and not have nothing done....Hmmm...looks like even politics on the blu ray website also....

That is just petty, if you knew anything about the thread you would know I was re-distributing the existing users codes every time somebody used the 1st time user codes; I explained this in some of my posts many times; and you do not have 1 complaint to back that crap up.

I also made no money from the link, it was not a referral link, just a direct link to half.com with blu-ray search term, sorted by lowest price.

Out of OVER 50 codes I posted and PM'd; I kept 3 for myself; which is very fair, and the whole reason I took on the task was I rarely buy from half.com, so who better to do it.

WickyWoo PM'd me with the original post today, but I have no interest in starting it again, and if getting codes for myself was my motivation, I would have started it up again right away yesterday.

WickyWoo also edited my signature removing the link to this thread letting people know what happened to the coupon post, so that people would not see this thread, because it was making him look bad.

I dont want to argue with the mods (I also get nothing out of this), and I was letting this be after making my point (so hopefully it does not happen to others), but I will not stand by and let me character be trashed because I pointed out the error in the mods judgment.

Please drop it WickyWoo (I'm sure your normally a good guy and good mod) and maybe just lock this thread, I will post the remaining codes I have inthe hot deals forum (that I was trying to do yesterday) and if anybody else wants to take over what I was doing (and I hope somebody does), then good luck, and I hope you get more respect for your effort.
