Not an online moment but a co-op moment playing Resistance at a friends house.
![]() I don't remember exactly what happened but we were at the part were you get to the giant mesh gate/fence and the big bad ass guy breaks through it, anyway he smacked one of the AI team mates across the room and thats how his corpse ended up getting stuck on top of a pipe. |

My first ever game online was Rainbow 6 Vegas on PS3...
I know, I was adopting late. I played most of the game, and then thought I would try out the online... whoa! My eyes were opened. |

I always have moments here and there that crack me up. Last one I remember is when I was playing Warhawk and when I spawned some guy from the other team was chasing after me with the flame thrower. So I ran backwards and toss a nade. It was just funny to see it from my view.

Playing with the same clan since month one of Socom 1, I had many memorable moments.
Making the final four in the Socom II World Tournament was a pretty big one, and we lost to the winner in a close war. Too many individual moments to list, some are viewable at our site listed below. |

Being a member of a pickup raid (24 people), beating 3 other raiding guilds to the punch, and successfully taking down a one-time mob (dragon) on my server in EQ2, and being one of only 24 people on the entire server to carry around a "title" for doing so.

I have a good one.. this is a funny one of course, I was playing a if you will a simulation mod for UT, this means that it played somewhat like rainbow six, two teams.. well when I spawn I went to hit the buttons to buy goodies, nothing happened.
My keyboard had failed, playing with the wires ferociously trying to get it to quit failing, and wala got it had to wiggle the cord. One problem.. the timer for buying stuff had gone away and it no longer allowed me to get equipment. So there I was with a pistol with a single clip, no armor, no protection, nothing but a single clip... text appears on the screen showing my entire team is now dead.. they managed to kill 0 enemies, 10-12 member would now be coming after me... Wait I see one, I start firing directly at the enemy... nothing clip empty, they started to laugh screaming noob... I realized something that pistol could not bypass there heavy armor they were wearing full body armor head to toe and riot shields I was screwed, nade and now im dead. Next match my keyboard did not fail and I obtained a sniper rifle... sitting in a single spot without moving I see the other teams top player.. bamm The bullet flew true, with a direct headshot.. and I smile with the messeges flowing across the screen... DUDE you got pwned by the noob, and it went across as complete rabble as it continued a smile formed on my face, and I managed to get the 2 more, and then pin some of the others down while my team mates came from behind to wipe them. Tunnel vision is a *****! |

My most memorable online moments early on came with Dreamcast, the first console with built-in online connectivity. I used to participate in regularly scheduled F355:Challenge races, which were an absolute blast. The anticipation levels waiting for the next race to begin was always huge.
My other big moment was the first time I went online with Phantasy Star Online. Just having it sink in that I just entered a huge open world was staggering. Now, I'm lovin' the fact that the Playstation Network is really developing, and jumping online from one game to the next is fairly seamless. |

My favorite all time online moment was when I was playing "Tribes". I was on a map that was fairly mountainous and, as some may remember, you could "skate" down hills and build up huge speed and go FLYING (literally)across maps.
I was using my trusty laser-rifle overlooking a trail where people liked to run to get to the other side (capture the flag stuff). I picked off a couple guys who thought they were being sneaky skulking through the terrain when I see this guy FLYING, perpendicular to my line of fire, across the sky like a bat outta hell. Never one to shy away from a challenge, I swung my rifle into my best guess of his flight path and clicked the mouse button. He died. He complimented me on my "lucky shot" (so did a couple of my teammates who saw me make it). So a couple minutes later I see him FLYING across the sky again in the same area. ZAP! yep, he's dead again...this time he just grumbled that I was WAY lucky. Then not a minute later I see him come FLYING across again (yeah he didn't learn very fast and/or really thought I was just lucky) so I did the only thing I COULD do in that situation. I popped him for the third time, in the same match, in the same place, as he was blazing across the sky. He cursed and screamed and swore I was using "hax" to shoot him for the rest of the match (I wasn't). I was laughing so hard after the third time that I had to go to the bathroom or else I would've messed myself. I miss playing Tribes. ![]() |
