Default Great Moments in Online Gaming

What are your favorite memories? One of mine was
when I joined a coop server in Joint Operations and the
admin put me alone on the rebel side against 10 other
gamers. Guess it was his idea of a practical joke.
I ended up with a 3:1 kill ratio and snuck on 4 of
them from behind while they were hiding in a building
and killed them all, including the admin.

I have put up better numbers for sure but this
one stuck out because I wasn't expecting it.

What are your favorite gaming memories online?
Doesn't have to be about stats, could be something
funny that happened.

Finding the first warp flute in Super Mario Bros 3... in the first castle.

A good friend at the time had a copy of it 3 months before it was released in North America and an adaptor to make it work on his Nintendo. We got so excited when "The Wizard" was coming out in theatres because it touted "a never before seen secret about 'Super Mario Bros 3', which had just barely been released in North America at the time the film hit theatres. We laughed so hard when we saw them go for the warp flute in the movie. We were saying, "That's old news. Found that months ago."

I was playing COD4 i was on this map hiding in a building sniping, i seen these two guys run by me one was the enemy and the other's on my side the way they went by it looked like something out of a friday the 13th movie the guy on my side gave chase with his knife and the way he was holding his knife running behind the enemy he looked like Jason Voorhees trying to kill some teenagers i didn't stop laughing for about 10 minutes it was so damn funny

This just happened this weekend while playing COD4.

I was playing Search and Destroy on Crossfire and the other team had eliminated all but one of our teammates so my screen showed his point of view. Unfortunately for us, this guy must have went to go to the bathroom or something, because he stood in one spot the whole round. So I was watching him just look straight forward not moving when I saw one of enemy players up in a building far away. The enemy saw my teammate just standing there, and instead of shooting him from far away, he thought he'd be funny and run up to him and knife him or something. So I watched the enemy jump out of the building, and walked right up to my teammate. As the enemy was still walking towards my teammate, and as soon as he got close enough, my teammate knifed him to death! There was zero hesitation! I don't know if this guy was planning on this the whole time or he just got super lucky and returned to his controller at the perfect moment, but oh man this was so funny! The enemy dude probably freaked when the guy moved right at the last second to kill him. How humiliating!

Transferring to BG9 in World of Warcraft and queueing up against Team Notorious/ Power Trip/ Pandemic.

Capping on them in WSG was a huge deal, as only team TAO had ever been able to cap on them before. Fast forward 6 months later, and our guild is ranked overall #1 in the world for arena.

so many, mostly in COD4 ( my first online game btw )...

im going to chime in with my most recent one...

crash map
first sniper rifle (dont remember name)
sneaked up on the concrete side of the map
started sniping...

got a kill streak of 15, all headshots STRAIGHT, with only 2 kills.
2 kills were during approach, which makes it all the better experience.

its always nice when things work out for you.

My first ever game online was Rainbow 6 Vegas on PS3...

I know, I was adopting late.

I played most of the game, and then thought I would try out the online... whoa! My eyes were opened.

I always have moments here and there that crack me up. Last one I remember is when I was playing Warhawk and when I spawned some guy from the other team was chasing after me with the flame thrower. So I ran backwards and toss a nade. It was just funny to see it from my view.

Playing with the same clan since month one of Socom 1, I had many memorable moments.

Making the final four in the Socom II World Tournament was a pretty big one, and we lost to the winner in a close war.

Too many individual moments to list, some are viewable at our site listed below.
