It won't be. None of the V/Constantine/Charlie etc will be

Perfect Storm and titles like it that had major issues are the only ones getting new transfers, and I wouldn't expect miracles from them

It's coming, sooner rather than later, discs especially from warner are not solicited farther than 2-3 weeks in advance, and this is not a "push" title so they're not going to talk about it early

The video is not sharp. Color is muted. They could have done a better job on the video transfer. Movie isn't very old. Fifth element and Dark City are a lot older and have a much better video transfer than Constantine.

Still, I like the movie. I"m glad I have it in my collection.

Uhm... that's the way it's supposed to look. This isn't Crank. *edit* To clarify- colors are as they're supposed to be, assuming that the theater and the dvd are correct. The PQ could be sharper, but it is an HD-DVD encode. I still find it to be pretty good.

Bottom line for me, is that I don't purchase a movie that I don't already love. I've been very rarely disappointed with that tactic, since it means that just watching the film itself is enjoyable to me.

Thanks for the post. I didn't know it was an HD-dvd encode. Im glad it at least has an uncompressed track. I rewatched Constantine again and like it more each time. Something about this movie really attracts me. I hope they make a sequel, but I doubt it.

Shame Michelle's scenes were cut. She looks reeeally good in this. Cute and sassy.

But hey, Francis left in Shia's "talking in the rearview mirrior scene". We'd have to wait all the way until Transformers to see that bit again.

The most under appreciated comic book adaptation before the boom this side of Blade?

Right now, it's on sale at Amazon for about six dollars. What does "multi-format" mean? It also says in the description that there are no special features. Is this right?

Not sure what Multi-format is about, maybe they just started thinking everything was a combo-pack with dvd and digital?
Unless Warner went back and did a new disc, it should have all the features the 2-disc dvd did. I keep seeing this in stores locally for about the same price (and being tempted, but so far have held off) and it's the same old disc with features. Technically it doesn't say no features, it just doesn't mention any either way (unless a customer review does). This came out well before rental discs were stripped or features and audio, so it's just a few things off on the amazon listing. Order away if you want it, or check Best Buy which has em for the same price (although you'll pay tax that way).

You also pay tax with Amazon if they have a physical presence in your state.

Thanks. I chatted with someone on Amazon, and she said that multi-format means that it is region free. Also, it didn't have special features. I find this kind of suspect. So, I might order this from Target since I have a gift card from them and get free shipping on anything so I'll end up paying less than a dollar for it. I'm a bit mad I sold the DVD but it didn't look good in my blu ray player so sold it.

I've seen "multi-format" a hundred times on Amazon and always get the normal BD copy. I really wouldn't worry about it.

Also dammit, now I bought Constantine.

I really hope this comes to 4K soon. It’s one of my favorite DC films.

Terrible Movie. Keanu is not Constantine in any way shape or form ( He isn't a blond british ******). he is Jake generic Demon Hunter. Shia was terrible as Chaz. The only good part was Peter Stormare as the devil. Thankfully they got it right with Matt Ryan and his show.
