While this isn't a faith based movie per se, I would like to see Leap Of Faith with Steve Martin. I thought the movie had a good outcome, and it tested his own faith in a way.

I don't think the Hollywood (not indies) movies on 911 can be in the Muslim Jihad 101 class. It depicts real people rather than an idea of Evil Americans that gets brainwashed in their minds.

we dont know how the movies are in middle east, there are many people hate for other faith. for example, jihadist probably show that film a lot to boost their faith in allah and hatred to destroy whoever they think is infidel. They probably angry seeing that americans tried to prevent their faith mission.
A few movies from Iran and Turkey that I've seen are pretty much standard fare of how people cope with life. It's fairly normal and decidedly low-budget filmmaking. Nothing of hatred of the west.

There was ONE movie from Turkey that was painful to watch. Can't remember the title but it was filled with ham acting (pardon the humor), bad editing and script.

To me, a movie of faith doesn't have to have any particular religion tied to it. Faith is something you believe in despite the logical probability. Every person has it.

I have no faith... I'm a heathen. A spawn of Satan. Well, that's what my parents tell me.

The Seventh Seal

This has been release on Blu in the UK but I'm too cheap to pay the Import price, so I would like to see a US release.

Also, I really like "Miracle Maker" - I think that is my favorite. ABC aired it 5-6 years ago and it's available on DVD. It's done as clay-mation so I'm not sure how it would look in HD.

It has Ralph Fiennes as Jesus and William Hurt as Jairus.
The Miracle Maker was great. I'd buy that on Blu.

I'd have to say that it is a faith movie in a sense. Personally, as a person of faith, I was encouraged to challenge force-fed religion and decide for myself what is and is not worthy of my devotion.

A well acted and presented movie.

CBS had a great mini-series called Jesus with Jeremy Sisto as Jesus and Gary Oldmam as Pontius Pilate.

A few more...

The Cross and the Switchblade
The Hiding Place
The Visitation (a little dark and violent though, probably borderline)

Maybe even the children's TV series Davey and Goliath.
