Default Favorite Film of Faith You'd Like To See On Blu

I was just curious what your favorite films of faith are that you'd like to see on Blu.

I'd like to see:

1. The Passion
2. The Ten Commandments (Heston version)
3. The Greatest Story Ever Told
4. Prince of Egypt

Let me know what you think.

The Last temptation of Christ

j.k.

In all honesty it would be the Jesus of Nazareth Mini-series.

I love that mini-series. I grew up with it. I own the DVD version and it definitely needs to be restored and put on Blu!

I would also like to see Paolo Pasolini's "The Gospel According to St. Matthew". That's a really interesting rendering.

I forgot about Narnia. I'm glad that that one is on its way. I'll buy all of those more than likely.

passion of christ (A A MUST MUST BUY BUY)
robe (my favorite)
demetrius and the gladiator (my favorite following after robe)
ben hur (coming on blu ray and cant wait!)

a serious question here.... dont get riled up with me..

would wtc or united 93 a faith movie? because people there done muslism faith? am curious your opinion? this is what they did in faith of allah? no? i know it might be senstive question but, faith is faith u know? I wished this never happened but its done (lost my fraternity brother that day). Perhaps in the middle east, "certain" people enjoy this movie or use it as recruit? What do u think?

World gone crazy!!

I would term a film of faith as something that is designed to increase the particular believer's belief (whatever his or her faith). Those movies are told from the POV of the United States and while purposefully avoiding Muslim characterization, it certainly doesn't endorse any following of Islam.

I guess on that basis I really couldn't call those films of faith.

To me it has to be something a little more deliberate.

good point. but maybe other perspective as it was a faith film to destroy the "WEST". we all practice different faith. but other bad people practice islam probably view people done their faith for allah?

we dont know how the movies are in middle east, there are many people hate for other faith. for example, jihadist probably show that film a lot to boost their faith in allah and hatred to destroy whoever they think is infidel.
They probably angry seeing that americans tried to prevent their faith mission.

ok i may watch too much war movies but this is a problem. i wished the studios did not make this movies at all.

this is still discussion from movie, not religion political perspective.

Definitely the Passion.

Also, I really like "Miracle Maker" - I think that is my favorite. ABC aired it 5-6 years ago and it's available on DVD. It's done as clay-mation so I'm not sure how it would look in HD.

It has Ralph Fiennes as Jesus and William Hurt as Jairus.

I used to think that I wanted to see Mel's Passion. I'll probably end up getting most of them that are fiction instead.

Oh yes, Go Reds!! Can't remember the last time they had pitching prospects but they've got 2 good ones!!

No Media Play went out of business here nearly 2 years ago. What side of the city did you live?
