My 3 year old girl loves Water Horse...Simpsons is not a good choice for kids.

My problem is that I can't get most kids titles on Blu-Ray because my daughter likes having her own DVD player at times (which keeps HDTV open for me). I've only bought Ice Age I & II so far...

I would go with the Robinsons, but Open season and Chicken little are also good choices.

As for live action I would add Enchanted (and not sure if it was mentioned) Underdog

Monster house is a cool movie but I think it could be a bit scary for a 5 year old.

I have strong reservations about Simpsons. IMO, the rest is okay if rated below PG12.

I'm a kid!

I love High School Musical 2 and Ratatouille+Cars

But you better get Hannah Montana [Concert], Both of you get advantage, the kid loves Hannah and you'll see the new generation of BD [3D].. hopefully

My kid plays COD4 and he is 4 years old. He has watched 300, Mr. & Mrs Smith, Predator, Star Wars, Alien Vs Predator, Species, Resident Evil and much more. When he is around other kids he kicks and bites them..

If he likes cartoon, consider getting:
meet the robinson
open season

ratatouille---watches this sometimes.

Im looking at either meet the robinsons//chicken little///open season//i was thinking also about the simpsons movie but didnt know if that was in his age range.

A question that also came to my mind. We rented bee movie last weekend.
We liked that 1....I was thinking about getting it on dvd because he wanted it. Any news if it could be coming to blu-ray anytime this year?

And any news on new cartoon titles on blu-ray?

Thanks i appreciate it.
My son who is 4.5 likes all those movies mentioned above. Lately he really likes the Waterhorse and Mr Magoriums Wonder Emporium. Surfs Up, Monster House are also winners.

My son loves Meet the Robinsons and Chicken Little. Simpsons isn't appropriate for very young kids. Also check out Ant Bully.

True, but isn't it worth it having a 4-5 year old running around chanting, "bountiful penis!"?

We own all the movies you have, including the ones you are looking at purchasing. While I don't think you could go wrong with any of the three, meet the robinsons is the one my youngest son (4.5 years old) has watched the most amount of times of the three you listed.

I have both Chicken Little and Meet The Robinsons as well as Monster House, all of which I enjoyed watching. Yes they are for me, I watch animated films too. I'm like a big kid in that regard. Monster House may be a little too intense since your son is 5. The Wild is another good movie, and there is also The Polar Express. Not sure about any more animated films or children's films on Blu Ray. You may want to check the movie section on the site, and look at studio's releases.
