IMO, if your going to make the storyline around Canage, then do it without downplaying the charecter. Make it an R-rating and keep the storyline true to the original sence, which would be the comic stories. I believe many people liked the Venom storyline as I did in Spidey-3. But like someone else has already said, the charecter profile of the 'New' Green Goblin took away from what could've been another awesome Spidey movie. Which ever charecters are storied into the next flim, I only ask that they are kept to their original developement. Were all adults and most kids see and hear worse on their video games.

Spidey 3 sucked!!!!! A regretfull SandMan, a silly Goblin suit, an even more pathetic Spidey suit, and a down-played Venom!!! 1+2 were great!! 3 was a cash(in)cow!! There was way to many sub plots and caracters for only 1 movie. This movie really screwed the real potential for more GREAT Spidey movies in my opinion.

By that logic, they should just have 10 villains in the next one so they don't have to make any more.

They should focus on story and not what (or how many) villain they can put in it. Let the story dictate. I think that's how they did 1 and 2, and they got away from that a bit in 3.

I liked it, I just thought the whole Peter/MJ thing was way overdone and took took much time. They should have spent more time developing the villain storylines.

Carnage is a terrible character. Venom sucks as an anti-hero, too. It's the reason his character went downhill in the 90's. He served his purpose, he's dead, time to move on to another story arc. Venom was the only good symbiote, the whole planet of the symbiotes and all that was garbage.

I don't think the Hobgoblin is a good idea, we already saw two of them. (Green Goblin and "New" Goblin) As for Mysterio and Shocker, I could see them as a little cameo or just a mention of them as a nod. They don't have the character to carry a film as the main villains.



Lizard and Kraven in SM4 would me my ideal movie. These are the last of the "must have" villains for the Spidey films.

Kraven comes to NYC to hunt the Lizard, Parker has to deal with both, but at the same time, he's trying to cure Connors. I believe this would make for a great storyline.

I didn't like it as much as 1 or 2 but I still thought it was damn good. I agree with a lot of people when they say there was just too much going on in it. too many side characters and subplots.

I can't agree with you on Elisha as MJ though. never thought she was overly attractive and she can't act her way out of a paper bag IMO.

Forget the Rhino he sucks. Electro,Shocker, Mysterio or perhaps Vulture. The Phantom would be cool as well. Lizard works because we already see Doc Conners.

well its just at this rate we wont see the final spidey movie until like 2050 or something like that i didnt mind having 2 villians in 1 movie just the way it was done needed some work but other than that 2 villians for an approximately 2 hour movie or whatever how long 3 was is just perfect and if it goes back to just 1 villian cut the time off of the movie so that it doesnt start dragging

I like the idea of the lizard story, that should be number 4 i think regardless of which cast plays the roles, because it would work for both reprising actors & new actors although maybe need a bit of a tweak to the story if new actors are brought in

I know SM3 was less than disireable especially compared to the first two. I wish they would have filmed another hour of material they had to cut out, and split the movie into two films released like 6 months apart from each other.

To me since they were just trying to cash in this would have been ideal for them and they wouldn't have had to cut so much of the film, character development, etc out that made the film so much less than it could have been.

I know they would have had to pay the actors substantially more than they did, but come on.... you think they wouldn't have made a lot more also.

I am going with this one as well!!! I would like to see somebody else play MJ. I never thought KD was pretty enough to be MJ.
