why has it taken them this long to star the next title? granted its hard to have a terminator without arnold, i think his acting days are over, but the story would be fine without him this time aournd i think.

So let me get this straight -

They are making a sequel to terminator without Arnold, and is rated PG-13?
I smell failure. Maybe not though. We'll see...

i officially think this is going to suck and suck hard now, no r rating for a terminator movie, what the hell is going on, i never thought this would happen, well i should have seen the writing on the wall when mcg was going to direct, might as well call it terminator of the caribbean or termi's angels, geez i guess its the schloky world we are now living in, where we cant swear or make fun of anything or anybody without being shunned, maybe we should all go watch american idol (holds gun to my head before i do), screw that im going to watch the terminator and reservoir dogs and remember the days when movies had some balls. sorry for the rant but this s*&t gets to me.

The Die Hard movies has always been R rated, I only went and saw Live Free or Die Hard because it got a lot of good reviews, and it was good.

However, I don't know about Terminator Salvation, terminators are all about killing cops, braking peoples limbs, and take a beating when taking gunfire (their facial flesh rips open, blood dripping).

If it gets PG-13 but a lot of good reviews, I'll see it. If it gets okay to bad reviews I'll wait for the Unrated release (DVD or Blu-Ray?)

Set in post-apocalyptic 2029, an adult John Connor, played by Christian Bale, leads the war to save humanity from the killing machines. Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin and Moon Bloodgood co-star.
I wanted to see this in the third movie. I was waiting for it until the end and was really disappointed when it was clear: there will be a part 4.

I do see a little problem with T4 not featuring Arnold though. For some kind of closure you need a scene (even if it's only a short one) where John sends back the original Terminator to set up the first movie.

I see a big problem with T4 just like T3, no James Cameron.

If something happens to Bale we will be in trouble. How many franchises has he reserected? He is an incrdible actor. I hope that we do not get tired of seeing him in all these very important sequal roles.

Does anyone else have a problem for the sake of T3 and T4 with the fact that Judgement Day hasn't happened?

So I guess we won't see any of the famous peeling off of the Terminator's skin and flesh in this movie?

Come on, the first three weren't even about the war and they were R, it's about a goddamn war. Die Hard worked PG-13, but that pure luck. This isn't.

No Arnold + PG-13 x McG = Terrible, brutally butchered franchise

The non-Arnold Terminator kills plenty of people in T2, doesn't he?

I guess Bale could carry the thing, but he's turning into Jude Law, showing up in every third movie Hollywood releases. I wish Directors would start using more unknown actors for their movies. It's more......................what's the word?.........................REALISTIC.
