Default About time a movie gets slapped with an "R" Rating

Been so long since there has been a movie with an "R" rating. The movie, The Happening actualy got one. Im shocked. Seems most movies now days get a PG 13!? Whats up with that!? Thats what happened with Chronicles of Riddick. Loved the film, actualy seen it in the theater, probably the last film I watched on the big screen. I was shocked at the PG 13 rating, I wanted it to be "R" but it was still good. Although I, like many other felt this hurt the film. Because of the lack of success, there may not (probably not) be a third Riddick film. A shame.

BTW, while I am rambling on about Riddick, they better bring the uncut directors version of the film to blu. I will for sure double dip on that one, as well as pitch black.

Anyway, The Happening got slapped with an "R" rating and all I can say is, its about time! I mean, C,mon Hollywood! Im sick of these PG13 films. Yeah, I know its done to bring in a wider audience for more money, but them PG13 movies get OLD.

Im I the only one missing those "R" rated films?
