That is possible, but not assured. People have been receiving this set sans-slipcover from online retailers like Amazon, for one. Also, I've personally seen many sets like this in-store without the slipcover, and with all the normal stickers on the outside, implying it never had a slipcover.

Lost Season 3 Blu-Ray was sent out in TWO different flavors. Some WITH the slip covers and some WITHOUT the slip covers. If you absolutely WANT the slip cover, but at a local retail store. If you don't care, buy online either through amazon, e-bay, or wherever.

i think they may have stopped making the slipcover versions and just went to a plain look like a limited time only thing

I just got my season 3 in the mail, new from a seller on amazon, no slip cover. The cover looks nice but I don't really need it.
