Has anyone heard if a 2nd season has definitely been confirmed by Fox yet?

I read about a new season on tv.com. It's supposed to be out next year and could be shown alongside new 24. In the US anyway, us peeps in the UK will have to wait longer.

I wouldnt' say that

Typically the UK waits longer because you show things straight through with no repeats, a trend the US is starting to adopt on many serialized shows. Starting a show in September has built in breaks in December March and a few weeks here and there. Each episode is usuallly running on a 10 day production schedule, and you need time to catch up.

You've gotten many things far earlier than we have in the past, especially stuff they show on Sci-Fi.

For example you were usually at least a month ahead for the second half of Stargate every year, sometimes 4-5 months.

This is freakin awesome news. I wanted to pick up this show, but I would only have been buying it on Blu. Thanks for delivering Fox!!!

Freakin awesome price too - it's the same price as one of their movies. How does that work exactly?

Why couldn't I get this lucky for Chuck? C'mon Warner

This is a WB release... not Fox!

That'd explain the believable price tag, too.

Yeah, but since WB has yet to put "lossless" audio on their TV releases, it most likely unfortunately means that we will be getting "lossy" audio... though it's not like we got lossless from our local FOX stations, so oh well...

Excellent news especially since I missed some of the episodes. I was hoping it would be released a little sooner but August isn't too long of a wait.

If there's anywhere I'm prepared to take lossy, it's for TV series, so I guess we're good.

Oh. Haha. My bad. That would explain a lot though. I am even more disappointed for Chuck now though as I can pretty much consider it official that it's not hitting Blu this year

I think I remember reading somewhere that the problem has to do with the show's concept and general story being created prior to T3. Not sure how accurate that is, but the show tends to make more sense if you ignore T3

This article says it's being renewed by Fox, and I'm sure the first series had a Fox logo before it started. Though I could be mistaken, my memory isn't what it used to be

The show AIRS on FOX (where it's being renewed), but it's a WB production (which is why they are the ones releasing the show).

Ahh, well I knew Fox was in there somewhere

As long as they bring it back I'll be happy. I want to see what happens to Glaubot after the ending of last season.

Yeah, I'm disappointed for "Chuck" as well, but I didn't have much hope for it. I knew T:TSCC had a HUGE chance of coming out, and I didn't think "Chuck" did. I would still be holding out hope for "Moonlight", but with news that it just got cancelled, I'm not holding my breath. Hopefully there is still a chance for "Pushing Daisies"...

Pre-ordered, but the price must be a mistake since it is only about $1 more than the DVD version. This is ranked at 125 and will probably hit the top 100 soon. If more people see it, more will order. This hasn't even been officially announced yet.

Just like we have to wait for shows from the UK. (torchwood being the exception)

Dang - my wife is going to be pretty disappointed to hear about Moonlight. She loves that show. And I didn't have huge hopes for Chuck either, but some hope nonetheless.

And I knew someone would make a comment like that about T3 Gotta love that one chase scene with the crane thing though.

I tell you, while I'm happy to hear some of my favorite shows are returning, I've been bummed today about the amount of shows I enjoy that have said "bye bye" today. "Men In Trees", "October Road", "Back To You", "New Amsterdam", "Miss/Guided", "Notes From The Underbelly", "Moonlight", and "Shark"... at least I'm going to have some Blu to keep me busy...

I loved the first season. And I'm glad we get another season too. I was worried.

Seem like if a show isn't "Seinfeld" or "Raymond" after 2 episodes, it's canceled.

I hope the BLU looks great and has lossless audio. If not, that will kind of blow (might as well just stick with my HDTV recording).
