I think the Wings have too much going for them right now to be stopped by any team, even though Pitt is a very good team and probably their toughest test yet. Datsyuk and Zetterberg are unstoppable, Osgood looks better than he ever has, and the Mule is on his way back!

I think the defense of Detriot and Osgood being great this post season is going to end Crosby and the penguins great run! I mean lets face it, philly was a creme puff opponent for the penguins and it's going to comeback to bite them in the a@@ once they step on the ice with one of the 3 best teams in the league!

Unfortunately... the Wings should take it. I will try to keep hope that the Pens can pull it off, I just don't see it happening.

i dont care, no Canadian teams...but if i have to choose its the wings, i do not want crosby to have the cup.

Don't tell me people have already started to treat Crosby with the same respect that people gave Gretzky? {IE: none at all because he was popular but good}

Furthermore, no Canadian teams, I agree with you there, that's why I refused to cheer for Montreal as I don't cheer regularly for foreign teams.

I will cheer for the Pens though, if anyone deserves it, it's the cinderella team.

my biggest gripe with crosby is that he was made the captain of the pens he didnt deserve it so soon, it should've came to him after a couple years of playing for them.

also he sold himself out to the media, hes in way to many commercials for just starting out in the nhl.

i agree that he's not getting the same respect as gretsky as what it should be like, but everyone is claiming him to be the next gretsky...no he's not, until it happens he is just another player. wait until he plays a couple years before declaring him this and that.

I mean, I remember when they were saying that Lindros was the next Gretzky. Look what happened to that whiney piece of trash.

Refuse to play in Quebec and then Quebec moved the franchise to Colorado and won a few cups leaving Lindros out in the cold.

I picked the Red Wings because Barry Melrose told me to. Everything I know about hockey, I learned from him. This even though I don't like the guy because he made fun of a guy because he was short. Typical jock. And his laugh is obnoxious.

Another nominee for best-run club could also be most of the Canadian teams. (except Vancouver (my team) and the Leafs)

Oilers have always been competitive and so has Calgary. They loose their best players EVERY SINGLE year, but there are always someone from the farm/draft picks to rise up and assume the role and step it up.

(Sure, Oilers been off the last 2 years), but I have to admire how their fans cope with their small budget and still be competative.

Also, Minny Wilds, whom I absolutely hate, has also built their team from ground and all home grown. They centered their core around 1 person, yes, not Gaborik, THE COACH!! JACQUES Lemmaire (sp?). He is running the club like he did when he was with the Devils.

So, all in all, these are topics fro another thread.

For the cup final this year, Wings in 6 (or 7).
