iv'e got la haine on hd dvd but i would buy it again on blu ray it was a very good film , i could'nt stand the main characters at first but as the film went on i started to like them.

if you have'nt seen it before its worth checking out.

Studio Canal is finally releasing Traffic



Have they released it anywhere in the world as of yet?

I'm hoping somewhere will do a decent version with extras.

Do most Studio Canal releases come English friendly? Or do they sometimes put forced subtitles? Several of these titles really interest me.

I don't think they force subs but I can't be sure as I never bought a canal+ release. But 99% of their releases only have French subs.
Plus, some of them are region free, other region locked. I guess it depends on their disctribution rights...

Au contraire, they leave you the choice between "French Version" or "Subtitled Original Version".

Just out of curiosity, how does the French Blu-ray release of Traffic compare to the German release? I'm trying to decide whether the German, French, or American release is the best one to get.
