Madden 09 or NCAA 09?

NCAA has the option for people to put names to each player, then post it online, so you can put it on your system.

madden is a good series, not great, but its fun, and it works.....no reason for negative comments, it is a good football game....you can't really compare ncaa vs nfl...... 2 different sporting venues....if u want to play nfl football...get madden...if u like ncaa...buy a ncaa game....doh!

Is there some sort of creat-a-player in NCAA 09? If so, how does it work? Do you get to set all of the attributes? Or are they earned?

You can either create a player and put him in the standard game, or you can create a player and just play HIM for his whole season/career. You only play that one position and you only play if he's in the game. In that mode you also control the academics, party life etc. Its almost ridiculous how deep this is.

Can you choose his atributes? I just want to have a middle lineback for my Badgers named SS316SRV who is perfect. That is all I want. I need to live my life through my videogame alter egos.

Its totally customizable. I havent gotten to deep but you can mae him the ultimae athelete if you want. If you do that, dont choose the college legend mode... just make your player and put him on your team. I'm pretty sure you can make them 99 across the board (if not damn close) if you want

I am going to skip both since EA has once again screwed the customer. I liked the idea of competition rather than one company holding the reins for the sport. Im the same i picked up ncaa last year was disappointed and didnt pick madden up either because of that. Tried the demo and its pretty much the same old thing. Plus still no create a play book in game which i liked back in the day like the ps2 has on it.

I guess i cant say dont go legend. I havent got that deep into THAT part of it. The game is well worth getting IMO if your a fan of college ball. The stadiums, players, motion are all great. And the damn online and dynasty modes are almost to frigging deep for a casual gamer like myself. But it will proably keep me out of the bar!
