HDD gave it a 2.5/5. About as best as can be expected from a low budget film where the print is in bad condition.

Too bad, when I saw it at the Cinema it looked ok. I have film that's more than 7 years old and it's not faded. The reviewer says print. If they did use a regular print, there could be at least 3 film elements that are better. (Haven't seen the disc)

Still on the fence for 'dogs but Young Guns gets regular rotation already here. If something else gets a rave review I may bite down the road too...

My vote went towards American psycho running with scissors with some others picked up latter down the road. Infact i didnt even pre order any titles comming out this week. if i get any of these it will be purely by impulse.

Personally I would take Pulp Fiction and/or Kill Bill over Reservoir Dogs any day. I think I am going to hold off too this week. Next week is going to be expensive and March looks like it is going to be an expensive month too.

I am a little tired of all these old movie releases. I think I purchased many of these 3 different times on SD. Also, it seems that the PQ is not quite up to snuff compared to the newest titles such as Crank.

I wouldn't mind repurchasing StarWars (all 6), Matrix series (coming soon), LOTR (coming soon), Godfather 1 and 2, Gladiator, and Brave Heart if done with the care of the better quality releases as of late.

I think RD is Tarantino's best work and only serious exploration of "honor among thieves" and crime/punishment...themes he comes back to again and again but never with the raw honesty of RD. The screenplay and direction has some amateur touches but Keitel, Roth and Buscemi's performances rank this above anything else Tarantino did, IMHO.

Yeah alot of people echo your opinion. For me the film felt more like a play than a drama. But I am the biggest Pulp Fiction fan. It is on my top 10 list of favorite films of all time.

I will definitely add RD to my Netfilx list because I do want to give it another chance - especially in high definition.

I think Pulp Fiction is the greatest movie ever. My favorite movie of all time for sure. I really hope they start doing more bd 50 movies though, I have to dissagree though I'm the biggest Pulp Fiction fan. Jules Winfield and Vincent Vega are the coolest most well written characters ever. God I love that movie. Coolmilo I heard he's trying to do a Vega brothers movie. google it and check it out.

Where's the None option.

Hollywood seems as if it doesn't know how to make a good movie anymore, so it's just pumping out quantity over quality.

Reservoir Dogs is a definate buy for me, I love it (and unlike my girlfriend, I do want to see that ear get cut off in HiDef)!

First Blood will come later, since I actually saw this in a Movie Theater just some weeks ago...and the print was nice! But I do want to see this in HiDef...soon!

American Psycho - I do want this title, however I'm just (a little) bummed that they couldn't clean up the print a little first. But then again...scratches & dirt are at least scratches & dirt in 1080p!
Maybe I'm just to used to Criterions fine work with masters.

I will buy it for sure, it's just not on my short list.

[edit]Oh, I forgot about Young Guns. I liked this a lot back in the day, but I must say I'm a little uncertain that the MQ is what it once was for me. It would be fun to see it again after all those years though!
