I thought it was odd on the BD release of Jumper it had a trailer for Happening and it said coming to Blu Ray soon.. yet it wasnt even out in theaters for a few more days.

Probably sometime in the fall to coincide with 'The Sixth Sense' release... just a hunch.

I actually didn't know that, that's pretty weird. I didn't rent Jumper on Blu-Ray yet but yeah...

As for the people who have a problem with what I said earlier, I have a problem with new people coming here and acting like they're high and mighty. The guy asked if anyone knew if The Happening was coming out around Halloween, I responded and said I read that it was coming out this fall sometime so it's possible it'll be around Halloween. I couldn't care less wether someone liked the movie or not, I answered his question with the info I know, that it is coming out this fall, but no one really knows when yet.

The Happening was absolutely terrible, this BD will defiantly be ignored by me.

I sure hope not. That movie was a big let down. Although it follows the trend of crappy movies like No Country or There Will Be Blood I'm sure it'll be out.

I liked it.

I also think that if you don't like M. Night's other movies, then you probably wont like this so I would avoid it, but I did like it.

I am sorry but I can sit through mostly any movie. I sat through one missed call and prom night...but the happening...my god it was as if M night did not even try. It was truely one of the worst films I have ever seen. mark should stick to action films because he cant do serious roles.

No Country For Old Men and There Will Be Blood are crappy movies? And why do you hope it doesn't come to Blu-Ray? You don't have to purchase it if/when it comes out. So why ruin it for the people that actually enjoyed the film?

I'm hoping for a DC. The movie didn't flow well. It seemed as though there was a ton that was cut that just made the film...incoherent at times.

I am glad someone brought this up. I've pointed out numerous times on this site that M. Night Shyamalan films are all about the characters and their issues and always make wonderful dramas. On this, it wasn't about the characters, it was about the event happening and you end up not really caring about anyone involved (except the hot dog guy

). It really seemed like Fox just wanted him to make a disturbing R-Rated film without any heart which seems odd for an M. Night movie since his movies are all about heart. So maybe a Director's Cut would add more character depth into it... Just so long as it doesn't add more pointless gore and death scenes...

The Hot Dog guy was a nice M Night touch. I think you hit the nail on the head. It would be interesting to know how much was cut.
