One of several software applications I have at my disposal.
Camcorder or HD camcorder straight to BD-R/RE.
Or, import to HDD, edit, then burn to BD-R/RE.
I can also import from a HD DVR and burn to BD-R/RE.

We aren't supposed to talk about BD to BD here...

you cant copy BD to BD though as they are coded? Besides,arent those 50G or even 25G BDs cost like $8-10 a piece?
Might as well buy the BDs.

Correct on both fronts I was refering to compression (that people who make disc encounter - people who just put them on the HDD - no compression at all). Physical disc quality also plays a part - Good comments +1!!!
