This service will only get better; this is just the beginning. I'll probably watch Rocky IV in HD someday and Dances With Wolves.

This new feature is pretty neat. C'mon Sony expand the HD section!

I completely underestimated the power of Sony. This is so very underrated.

Now they need to create a flat rate subscription (Similar to Netflix or BB) and release new titles every week.

yeah..only way i do this is for a flat fee. way too expensive. especially considering all these newer shows should be available in hd.

i see 53 hd movies..some really strange ones too.. wargames? really? haha

but good job sony, i'm way happier about this release than i thought i'd be

wait a minute, so you can only watch the film once? unless you cram another viewing in 24 hours after the initial viewing? you can't just watch it anytime you want for up to 14 days?

Yep, it's the same as Xbox Live's movie rental system (save for the pay to own)... Basically, we pay essentially $6 for an HD version ($3 for SD), and before you hit the "continue with purchase" it tells you that the movie is available for : 14 days from the day of download, or 24 hours from the time you hit the play button.

You kind of get used to it.. I don't do the whole movie thing all too often, so it doesn't effect me much (I prefer my movies on Blu).. I do however purchase MANY TV shows.. Those are yours once you purchase.. Is it the same with the PSN?
