Default Doomsday

I made a new thread because this is not specifically about the movie. When I turned it on there were dots on the top and bottom of the screen 4 of them like this.

. . . .

. . . .

They went away went I hit select on my ps3 controller to check info, but came back when i closed the info. Was like that through most of the movie. Never have seen anything like that before. Was not on top gun i played right before either.

sony bravia kdlw3000, ps3, and a Onkyo 875.

Anyone else see anything like this. They were perfect like the dots i typed.

Hmmmmm, let me think. It could be a cheap ass HDMI cable or you're on mixed medications. J/k I don't know what the hell I'm talking about....never seen the movie yet.

What color were the dots? Also, what model PS3 do you have?

I only saw it on Doomsday. The dots i believe were different colors. I am old enough to have acid flashbacks but i never had flashbacks from it before.
My wife saw it too. So did my 12 year old.
I have the 80 gig ps3 that came with motorstorm.

At least yours plays. I get all the way up to the menu screen on my Sony BDP-S300 and when I hit "play" the FBI threat and the glorious Universal logo go by, then right when the movie should start, my whole player turns off and restarts again. Exchanged the disc and the same thing happens. Went to a friend's house with the same player model and the same thing happens. I sent away for the latest firmware update, so I hope that fixes the trouble. Didn't know if it was something with the new Universal discs and that whole "U-Control" feature that might be hosing things up. Any similar problems with the Mummy anyone?

Sucks this movie has been forgotten. A new collector's edition might breathe life in this film.

I felt so betrayed and mislead when this film came out. The trailer made it seem like a cool Mad Max type film and I was so on board. Then when it came out, I was totally taken back by all the medieval stuff halfway through the film. I was like, what the hell am I watching and it kinda made me really annoyed back then.

Looking back at it now, I can sort of appreciate how different it tried to be from other post apocalyptic movies and now I do sort of enjoy it for that reason.

This is a good flick, I have watched my unrated BD many times. Rhona was bad-ass, too bad we didn't get to see more of her.

Hollowman has what you seek. Extended version for sure, or in the deleted scenes on the theater cut dvd.
