The PQ is not demo quality. But with the age of the movie, I would say it is okay. According to my eyes it is clean enough. There are some scenes that are really beautiful with some nice details (Arnold leather jacket, Vanessa's face that shows some acne). But it is not WOW, THAT"S HIGH DEF. It is more like a clean old film.

As far as the bit rate, the video averages around 12-16-19. There was a low spot of 9 and there was a one-time peak of 37.9. By the way, it is a VC-1 encode. I would give it a score of 3/5 or 3.5/5

The SQ, however, is superior to the PQ. Again, it isn't 5 stars but it is nice, loud and pleasing to the ears (especially the gunfire from that super weapon). There is more than enough bass and surrounds use. The lossless is definitely lossless.

The Dolby True HD track averages between 1.8-2.9 bit rate.
I would give it a score of 4/5.

I would recommend getting it. I am happy with it. If U like the movie, get it. If U don't like it, get it still to entertain Ur ears.

Disclaimer: I am not a professional reviewer. This review is according to my eyes, ears and old ass (4 years old) Sanyo Plasma 720P set at 1080i. Don't blame me if U or any pro reviewers think otherwise.

I pretty much agree with this review. I received it today and I'm currently watching it on my 110" screen (RS1). Nothing flashy about the release...It's what you would expect from a 12 year old catalog title.

Warner Home Video. Ordered it along with Terminator: SCC a few weeks ago. They shipped me SCC about 10 days ago and I got Eraser today.

Try watching some of it at 720p with PS3 which I also have. I have flip flopped on my dsiplay between that and 1080i in the past watching BDs and there is no question 720p is the way to go for me.

Thanks for giving us the skinny on this movie. I want to buy it in the near future.
