Robin (like everything in the comic book movie genre) if done right would kick ass. If you treat the source material with some respect and write a good story, you can't lose. Look at the old Punisher, FF and not to mention the joe schummaker Batman disasters and then look at the work that was giving some TLC and done right: TDK, IM, TIH!

Nothings impossible, well nearly everything can be accomplished with some real effort behind it, but some things are impossible; so some things are impossible, while the things are not quite impossible are nearly improbable, with everything that's left being probable.

Out of those choices, I'd say nearly improbable that they could make Robin kick ass and a like-able character, who's screen time is limited and doesn't ruin the movie.

I feel like they did such a good job with batman begins that I don't even look at batman the same anymore. So much so that it was strange bringing joker and two face into it for me because it brought me back to reality that I was watching the character I grew up loving. I can't even imagine Robin in this new series...if Robin were to be reinvented this is the crew to do it! I like the idea of Robin being very young at this poing in time though. Batman needs to mature more and get older.

i hope not! if they do, i think they would have to greatly alter his costume so he doesn't look so fruit-tastic.

I would make Robin in the beginning of the movie as some batman wanna be and end him in the first 5 minutes with that scene right there just for kicks lol

They should do Robin in the 4th movie but it should be Jason Todd not Dick Grayson and then he should be killed off like in the comics setting up the Knightfall storyline which was one of my favorite comic book story lines ever.Anyways the Jason Todd character would translate better for the movies especially the direction they are taking Batman in this series.

I think he really said that Robin would never be in his movies... I cant remember where I read it.

Yes! I would like to see Harley in it, would fit in nice now that they can't do Mr. J ever again. As far as Robin I hope we never see him in a Nolan film. That also goes for penguin, and catwoman.

The first 2 Batmans in both series did just fine without a Robin and I think it would be unwise to tamper with success.

But would it work? Look at the way Nolan added the reference to Joker at the end of Begins. Similarly, I would expect that the next storyline will pivot around someone who was in TDK. I don't remember a female in Joker's crew or any of the crews he took over. I think if they were to add Harley for the next film and have her relate to her relationship with Joker it would just be lazy, revisionist writing...in other words: not Nolan's style.

But it is an intriguing idea...much better than Robin! Schumaker killed that possibility.

schumaker certainly didn't do robin any favors, but he didn't kill the possibility of robin being in another batman movie. if done right robin could be kick ass. i like the idea of bringing in jason todd. the only problem with that is it involves the joker. work around that and you've got a great movie. you've even got the 4th or 5th movie already set up then as well.

what i meant really is that he doesnt want the same team up as in the other movies because its been done before and the other movies were terrible....

so having Riddler and Two Face in the same movie isnt happening, neither is catwomen and Penguin.....Joker and Two Face was fine because it wasnt done before even though the characters were....

Leave Robin out of it unless they can make him a darker character as well.
