Just wondering if anyone is going to see death race this weekend.

I'm considering either death race or dark knight again in imax.

Actually, this should be over in the Movies/TV Forum, where most fans unacquainted with the 70's movie are saying "Yeesh, seen it! ", and those acquainted are saying "Oh, lordy, did they even SEE the original movie?? "

Yeah im going to pass on account of I hate the guy in death race. I think hes made nothing but garbage and he can't act for beans.

Saw this, today. Plenty of action, nice effects, a decent amount of gore and a whole lot of fun. Don't listen to the nay-sayers! And for people who enjoy these kind of over-the-top action movies, they trailered the new Fast and the Furious before Death Race. I was the only person in the theater who geeked out...

+1 I like those type of movies. Its not good to criticize movies b/c most movies won't be a box office hit or anything like that.

I probably wanna see it for that reason alone. Watch the FF trailer than either walk out or stay for a decent action picture.

I just saw it tonight as it is on the big screens over here. An entertaining movie though not a very deep one. The issue of the dangers and abuses of excessive privatization though implied by the very plot of the movie, does not get the attention it should. But if you are in for a popcorn movie then go for it.

Finally watched this last night. Pretty dam entertaining in Crank sort of way. My buddy and I were laughing quite a bit and smiling throughout most of the movie due to some great lines and deaths.

Favorite kill at the beginning was probably the guy who drove into the spikes... still alive briefly then the spikes pull downward into a car crusher, we were literally laughing our asses off

i love this movie as well, just a fun action flick
