I would say that I would change the ending to the movie North. I hate it when you watch a movie and at the end its all just a dream. Talk about a waste of time.

Juno - they should have the baby turn into Michael Myers and have revenge on all the participants in that pointless baby swap.

+1 on that. Them getting on the bus would have left a sour taste in my mouth.
"The town is back THAT way"... Haha, pure gold.

i think they should have used the Alt (which is actually the original ending). Not because he survives, but because of all the clues throughout the film that lead to nothing without it. The butterfly, the idea that the main vamp guy wants he lady back, etc. way better.

Not in a heartbeat. I loved the ending to Quantum Leap. It wasn't your typical happy ending where everything rapped up nicely, and it made sense.

Quantum Leap:
[Show spoiler]By the end, Sam had changed the world so much, that he was existing outside the normal timestream (which is why he was no longer leaping into bodies). And after changing things for Al, there was no where left for Sam to go back to (basically, there were so many changes that he wouldn't have recognized where he came from). ~So it makes sense for Sam to be stuck Leaping forever.

Would have changed the ending to Judge Dredd.
It was all good until
[Show spoiler]the fake statue of liberty and anti-climatic battle sceene at the end.

I would have changed the ending to the Butteryfly Effect. The alternate ending
[Show spoiler]where he went back in time and killed himself
was much better

The Village. Never has the end of a movie ticked me off so much.

I actually liked the episode, I think I'm just pissed because I wanted more. Just hate they ended quickly when they had more planned.

I love movies - even heavy and dark movies, but there are a couple I'd change if I could.

Seven: The movie was so good, but I hate the ending with the wife's head in a box. Too dark and gratuitous for my taste.

There Will Be Blood: I hate to see such good acting wasted on such a dark and depressing script.

Thats not totally true, and isnt the ending of the book... At the end of the book he kills himself so the theatrical ending of the movie is actually more like the book in ways...

Unbreakable: The first hour of the movie was so strong that I was waiting and wanting more and the end confrontation to me is just .. well just. I understand that it was the proper ending it just was not as good as the rest of the film.

From Dusk Till Dawn: Before every one boo's me, I have come to love the film over several years and viewings, but I'm sure everyone agrees that the first half of the film is bad ass and then it just turns into a b-horror film, which is what it is suppose to be but that first half with Clooney at his best and Tarantino so crazy, that was awesome.

A.I. : Should have ended where the boy and bear get frozen in the lake.

Unbreakable. The ending ruined the movie for me. I cannot watch it again. The text describing the fates of the characters killed me.

No, he is waiting to executed by the vampires. When he releases that he is the legend that they fear.

no, he kills himself with pills as he sees their hatred for him and yes, he realizes that he is the legend that they fear.

True but he only did it because he was obsolete because the vampires had already created a new society and he was the last of his kind, the legend they all feared. The alt ending alludes to the fact that the vampires have a society and him accepting that.

I see how you could look at it that way. but i think both versions point that out because in both versions, they do come to his house for the girl...meaning that she is a part of their society that they want back but i understand what you are trying to say...

I would change the ending of Mystic River. That movie was so good until the very end. I seriously felt like I wasted 2.5 hours of my life because of the ending. Extremely disappointing.

This thread is perfect for "How it Should Have Ended" on Youtube. Anyone heard of these... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoNgMVFQNBI

I'd watch this persons other videos if you get the chance, most of them are pretty good. I'd recomend Spider-Man 3, Lord of The Rings, Superman, Forrest Gump, and Star Wars.
EDIT: I also highly recomend "How to survive an alien attack"

In my opinion, 2001: a Space Oddesey had on of the worst endings of any movie. The first 3/4 are boring as heck and that last 15 min just screw you over as a movie watcher.
