I'm very eclectic in my music tastes:

-Rap (older stuff, but not too old - mid/late 90s to early 2000s, Eminem, Jay-Z, Mobb Deep, Nas especially - and I have a weakness for early Cash Money works, lol)

-Reggaeton / Bachata / Merengue (nothing better to dance to than hispanic music, can guarantee ya that)

-80s and 90s Rock (ohhhh man do I love this stuff. Whitesnake, Goo Goo Dolls, U2, Bryan Adams, REM)

-And uhh, soundtrack instrumentals from John Williams

Do you have XM Radio by any chance? Channel 41 is called "Hair Nation" and they have all kinds of 1980s and 1990s rock on there. All kinds. Scorps, Whitesnake, Ratt, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, and even some of the shredder-ish bands like Malmsteen and Satriani (but the focus is more on ballads and über-hair bands mentioned in the first group).

i would consider bad new rap to be anything after 1998. of course there are some good rap out there, but buy n large it's pretty much toast.

Legends of Jazz

If you like Jazz, this is an absolute "must-have".
Two words:

Sun Ra

I listen to everything so I'm kind of all over the place. On my iPod one playlist goes:

Jay-z
Kanye
LL Cool J
Lisa Loeb
George Jones
Harry Chapin
Notorious BIG
Frank Sinatra
Conway Twitty
Dwight Yoakam

I really don't discriminate.

I'm in to my electro house. But would listen to most kinds of dance music A few artists that are dropping bombs at the moment;

Deadmau5
David Guetta
Calvin Harris
Damien Lazarus
Mark Knight

The Miami Winter Music Conference is not long over - the source of all things great for the upcoming summer hot spots!

Also check out one of the hottest Miami tunes;

Michael Cleis - La Mezcla (12 mins long!)

I miss Miami BASS...booty music FTW!!

I used to be into epic trance then moved to hard trance, Gary D!!!

Miss the good old days of Oakey and Acosta tearing up massives in California. I was in the Indio Polo Fields watching Oakenfold perform most of Tranceport the year the album came out. One of the best parties ever.

Also caught BT live when Godspeed came out.

Oh how I miss those days....
