Got my stick from FedEx yesterday and it's a good stick. The button layout takes getting used to but the build is nice. The cord is 9 feet and that's perfect for my setup. Probably won't get another one though because I want to SF IV one. For $42 it's a great buy.

Is this controller backwards compatible with PS/PS2 games?

Yeah, the HRAP3 is pretty good. I might invest in one, but I also have to get Sanwa parts to mod it and that won't be cheap either.

For the most part, I play on a custom made stick with a Pelican converter.

Anyone know the least expensive stick that is compatible with PS3 and XBOX360?

I own both so would want one stick to work with both. I see that arcadeinabox has them but they are $220 US... ugh.

Can you please post details on your current custom made stick and Pelican converter? I've been trying to use a Pelican converter with my Soul Calibur II universal arcade stick, and so far, I haven't been able to get it to work with PS3. Is there a trick to it?

I actually had 2 Soul Calibur sticks, but I gave one to a friend due to this issue. Neither stick has worked with the Pelican converter, but a regular PS2 controller works with the Pelican converter. If there's a way I can get the stick to work, I'll keep it. Otherwise, I'll need to ditch it for a new one.
