Default No Love For David Lynch?

Not even ONE of his movies on Blu-ray in the US.
How about Blue Velvet for a start?

You could import "Dune" from France and turn up your subwoofer for the thumpers

My top desire would be for the Elephant Man. Everything else he's done is a close second.

It's pretty ridiculous that we're this far along into the format and the only David Lynch film available in the US is Dune.

Think the interest (even in the early Lynch films that made sense--yes, Eraserhead made more sense than Lost Highway) pretty much cooled after Lynch turned into a loony diva and insisted on no chapter stops for his disks.
Fortunately, that didn't seem to apply to his more conventional corporate studio sellouts like "Elephant Man" and "Dune", but it hadn't exactly kept him friends with the industry.

I think he left out the chapter marks only for Mulholland Drive. I have only three of his DVDs, so I can't speak about all of them. But the other two I own -- Lost Highway and Inland Empire -- have chapter marks.

I found the lack of chapter marks in Mulholland Drive very annoying. First of all, the film itself demands close inspection. In attempting a second look at something, if you accidentally hit the wrong button, you had to go to the beginning and fast-forward to the spot you'd messed up at. But that bothersome point didn't stop me from watching it ten times within the first two weeks I owned it, as I took it to friends' houses to show them this moody masterpiece. I was mesmerized by it. It was weird, sort of funny, and it was like looking into the eyes of a cobra. To date, I'm betting I've seen it at least thirty times. What a piece of work.

Inland Empire was equally as mesmerizing, but its length makes it difficult to watch so often. I think the ending should have gone back to that phonograph record at the beginning, instead of that crazy ending with everyone in the house. His films don't really mean anything, but he's so good and creating these hypnotic scenes, who cares?

I'd certainly get Mulholland Drive, Lost Highway, Blue Velvet and Eraserhead if they make it to Blu. The Elephant Man is available in the UK region-free.
