The most wanted Italian releases would probably be SUSPIRIA, OPERA, THE BEYOND, ZOMBIE, and TORSO and I would expect to see them before the cannibal flicks simply because too many people are intimidated to purchase these classics as a blind buy.
The dario argento movies suspiria/inferno and mother of tears would make it a complete trilogy on blu-ray.

Near the end of torso is where the film gets better but also more tense and little gory.

Hi everyone, im new to this site as i just recently got myself a blu ray player, which might i add, is the best thing ive ever done!!! The picture and sound is truly amazing.
Anyway back to what i wanted to say, i do hope they put more of the "exploitation/horror genre"films out there on Blu ray. Already weve got such films out as Passolini's SALO-120 DAYS OF SODOM, ive seen DARIO ARGENTO's MOTHER OF TEARS on Blu Ray in France (but to me it is defo not one of his return to forms, fingers crossed for next years GIALLO), THE STORY OF O which is not for everyones taste and the usual mainstream stuff.
But i hope there's gonna be alot more choice next year.
Ive been an avid collector of Genre dvd's for many years and ive got a collection to die for but i dont think im gonna replace everything with Blu Ray, just my faves and obviously the ones i hav'nt got which do get the Blu Ray treatment.

This Blu Ray thing is totally new to me so please bear with me.

Anyone got John Carpenters THE THING (US Release Blu-Ray) Damn that film looks good!!!!!

I'm still waiting on all the old italian zombie and cannibal films to appear. Would have thought some Fulci at least would have hit blu by now. I will replace each and every one of my dvds with the blu ray version as soon as they appear. These are some of my favorite films, so, i live in hope.

Thumbs up I would love to buy Cannibal Holocaust for bluray!

I really hope they bring Cannibal Holocaust out for bluray. I would buy it as soon as it's released. For everyone complaining about the death scenes with the animals, grow up. They show animals being butchered all the time on television. Did anyone ever watch man vs. wild or survivorman! They kill animals too. It's called hunting for food, and that is exactly what they did in Cannibal Holocaust, when they were done killing the animal, they ate the animal. That is okay. It's all part of nature. Cannibal Holocaust is an excellent film. Especially for educational purposes too. It's based on true events. I beg on my knees for Grindhouse to bring Cannibal Holocaust and other brutal movies to BLURAY!!! Bluray is the best, and deserves every movie.
