Lucas kind of reminds me of Al Davis, just can't give it up. I'll just say the longer they take the older Harrison Ford gets and if they go to shea L'beouf (however you spell), it's just not worth it with Sean Connery and then no Harrison Ford? Come on!

Personally I hope neither of them have any say in the story, Lucas should produce, and Spielberg direct, nothing more...

What does Lucas in think mode actually mean.....

Could it be the aliens from Indy 4 come back to earth and ask Indy for his help in stopping a race of beings from a "galaxy far far away"....

Quit being haters. 4 was just fine, when you involve Aztecs you are indebted to touch on aliens. Also, you won't see Sean C in anything ever again, he retired and rumor is he is not doing good healthwise. I read somewhere that it was something like what happen to Heston.

+1

None of the Indy movies were all that realistic. I don't understand why every hates on Indy 4 so much.

I'm all for it. But I do agree. If it's done right, it's gotta have more Speilberg, less Lucas... and fingers crossed Lawrence Kasdan writing it (that would make it gold!).

if only it were that simple... and I know you know it isn't. I'm just saying so many great scripts end up piles of dribble once the producer and/or director project their "creative" insights onto the film.

Why the hate on the aliens? Aliens, and the fear of them, has been around for thousands of years. They are nothing new to our history.

I think that many of the people that didn't like the alien touch fail to remember that even cavemen depicted drawins of aliens and paranormal things.

While many people want to discredit the existance of aliens - humans have been talking, drawing, and fearing them for many thousands of years.

If they didn't, I know people would be ticked off at the lack of a payoff. All that talk and build-up with no delivery. Kind of like if they had all that talk of the holy grail and left out the ending of the Last Crusade.
