Default Lucas in 'think mode' for Indy 5

Quote:
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Harrison Ford said Friday that momentum is building for a fifth movie in the "Indiana Jones" franchise and that George Lucas is already cooking up a suitable plot.

"It's crazy but great," the 66-year-old Ford said. "George is in think mode right now."

Hitting DVD and Blu-ray Disc on October 14th, Indiana Jones the the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has made $783.7 million worldwide compared to its budget of $185 million.

"It's automatic, really, we did well with the last one and with that having done well and been a positive experience, it's not surprising that some people want to do it again," Ford said.

Please no. Less George in everything. I don't think he's good for much, except for being a fake Santa in a shopping mall. He'd make a good Santa.

I think Indy will get on a motorcycle and jump over a shark filled water tank. OH WAIT HE DID THAT ALREADY.

I don't want them to make a fifth. But if they do, let's pray it's better than the last one. The fourth was missing a key element: Sean Connery.

You would think that with all the brains behind the Indiana Jones films and all they come up with was the Crystal Skull...The film wasn't that good even though it made a lot of money.

Yeah but he was giving a lame "stay in school kids!" speech while he was doing it.

If they are going to do yet another, they ought to take a look at the book series that was out in the late 80's early 90's...somewhere in there. The books were pretty good and nothing to over the top. Should have done the same with the Star Wars thing as well.

Default Indy 5? I'll see it, it'll be fun.

Ditto.

And I read before Indy 4 came out that Spielberg wanted to go for the traditional Indy adventure, with more stuntmen and more real explosions, statistics said only 30% of the FX had to be CGI. What a lie. Every action set piece was laden with CGI up the you know what.

I can admit, it was fun seeing Indy again, and some of the action was cool, but Lucas seriously needs to retire.

Anytime I wanna see an CGI-free action movie, I'll watch the Bourne movies or Casino Royale.

He should play in a sequel to Bad Santa if Billy Bob refuses.
