Default Sharp

Well i have the full HD 1080p Sharp 52D62U unit... i did not see much in difference from the 62U and the 92U for blu-ray and hd-dvd products.... so i decided too save the extra 2000$ and get the 62U lol.

Sanyo Z3 (720p) - have had this for several years now.

Looking for a new front projector that will support 1080p!

I'm just waiting until the end the year. By then hopefully it"s all calm down. More choice and lower cost.

1080i/720p CRT -- 720p looks better for sports/action cable tv & 1080i looks best for things like The Sopranos on HBO and watching Blu-rays (because of the much better bandwidth using HDMI).

Cool!

When does 10,000P come out? I bet that's a ***** of a big screen to have that many pixels.

Sorry the original pollster didn't include 480p, Calo. Most DVDs were optimized using 480i (So they don't have artifacts when watched on 480i CRTs). 480p displays are of course better than 480i. and eliminate interlace motion artifacts.

Ive got a shiny brand new Sharp Aquos 32" that goes up to 1080i. The store tricked me though. I thought it was 1080p. Now Im stuck with it...*sigh*
