37" LCD HDTV up to 1080i (but can accept 1080p signal even though it's not listed, but can't show the true power of 1080p).
However, Blu-Ray movies still look remarkable in 720p/1080i on a 37" widescreen LCD HDTV while DVD movies in general look much more soft and even less colourful. |

Not surprising there's a lot of 1080p votes (considering the forum).

Banjo, you say yours accepts 1080p but can't show the true power of 1080p. What do you mean? If it's a 1080 x 1920 panel and accepts 1080p shouldn't it give you 1080p? (Or maybe it's a 720 x 1280 or 768 x 1366 pixel 37" LCD? <- Then you should have voted 720p. Banned! just kidding ![]() Maybe replies could specify things in terms like 720p panel/1080p input or 1080p panel/1080i input deinterlaced correctly or bobbed etc In any case, remember that even if a TV accepts 10,000p it's the panel's ultimate on screen pixel count resolution that "counts" ![]() |

Hitachi 55HDX62
1080i but does a great job. Hard to justify replacing and I may go the projector route when I do. |
