They ran The Wrestler twice. He was there the first time and I got to meet him. I got very excited. Just shook his hand and told him how much I really loved his films.

I hope he does direct Robocop. Not getting my hopes up though. Remember he was suppose to direct Batman Year One and Watchmen?

This movie isn't tied to Vince in any way, so it will most likely be good.

Hopefully they do the art of Pro Wrestling justice.

I know this movie has a limited release for 12/17, but where the H is it playing? I don't want this to be so limited that I have to drive 50 miles to it (I live in Baltimore so it's not like there's a lack of population).

Thats the problem with limited movies, you never know where they are goin to play! but I have 2 indy theaters and they always play the limited films but sometimes they play them really late

Yeah I just checked all the indie theaters in my area and no indication of whether the movie will be playing there.

For those interested, here's the release schedule for The Wrestler. I have to wait til January 23

I was really looking forward to seeing this in the next couple of weeks.

Juno is like a cupcake and compared to the Wreslter...lol....sorry I have I'm just not a big fan of Juno....soooooo played out lol, but yes...the Wrestler is really emotional....I'm really excited to see it again.

Do you go to that small place on Franklin St (or technically, it might be on Columbia, behind Top-O)?

I've been interested in this movie, but somewhat worried that it sounds a little too contrived.

The Varsity? Next to where peppers Pizza was before they moved it? yeah I have been there a few times, I saw Squid And The Whale there. But when I am in Chapel Hill (I love in Charlotte now) I go to Carolina Theater in Durham, its much nicer and bigger.

Nope, not the Varsity. There was another across the street (the side Top of the Hill was on) but the entrance was off of Columbia.

I think it was actually another Carolina Theater, and the entrance/lobby used to be on Franklin St., until it was torn down to make room for the GAP store. Which is why they moved the entrance to the side.

Oh no the only Carolina theater I know about is in Durham, had no idea there used to be one on Franklin Street.
