Sci-fi/Fantasy are definately first place, Comedy a close second. Willow, Star Wars, Dark Crystal, great movies, the story line and fantastic worlds get me. A good comedy where I am laughing constantly is also great, I feel lighter and have more pep in my step after.

Hmm I like sci-fi ( Star Wars, LOTR, Iron Man, TDK,Terminator 2) and dramas( gangster movies, and epics such as Braveheart, Gladiator)

Ditto....though out of the options I choose Action and Horror (even though most horror movies these days sucks big time).

Most Sci-Fi films I’ve seen have elements of action in them, so it’s kind of like double-dipping for me

Tough to classify, but I have a strong pull to Epics & historical drama. Sci-Fi is my second favourite type, so a film like 'Timeline' crosses all the boxes and gets me rather excited

1. Epic/Historical
2. Sci-Fi
3. Drama
4. Action
5. Comedy

I like films that deal with family, romance and loss, but they are pretty cross-genre cept Sci-Fi which is pretty void in that department - too many films ignore sentiment when they are in space they somehow ignore all that complicated stuff

I'm definitely the girly girl here... "chick flicks" and romantic comedies are my favorite. You've Got Mail is one of my all-time favorites... on blu-ray, I love The Holiday and No Reservations... sigh, there are so many.

Many of my favorite movies are '80's Comedies, but I couldn't bring myself to vote comedy due to all the crap that passes for comedy over the last ten years or so.
