Chrono Trigger and the Final Fantasy franchise has always been my favorites of all time. My second favorite is the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

It's a pretty basic Action-Slasher Imo...

Maybe Uncharted rather?

Otherwise it's RPG for me.

Madden for me... I love I can play it all year over and over and its still just as fun to me as the day I opened it.

The Battle For Middle-Earth! amazing game, especially multiplayer, m8s would bring round a their laptops, hook them all up over LAN, and that would be us for 24 hours, Fly Shadowfax! show us the meaning of haste!

never got into RPG...but then one day i rented some game called "Oblivion"...i haven't seen my family or gone to work in a year...i think the IRS will be kicking down my door soon!

Final Fantasy series are my favorites. But do anyone remember "Zone of Enders" for the PS2, that is still on of my favorites.

Definitely RPG! Like a previous poster said though, I won't touch games like 'Oblivion' or 'World Of Warcraft.'

As for genre, I'm not really into RPG's unless they are action based and don't include any orcs, elves or goblins. For me, I would say my fave genre would be action.

I found this to be a tough choice, because it really depends on the game.

I chose "FPS" but it could as easily have been sports or RPG... though without a recent installment of Final Fantasy, I've found RPGs to be a bit lacking. Don't get me wrong, Oblivion is cool, but I just can't get into it like I did FF VII or even FF X.

Hmmm......... my favourite genre would be horror - it's a shame you didn't include that on your pole.

Since that wasn't included, I guess my vote would then go to RPG's, but as has been stated before, JRPG's and WRPG's have very different styles - and my vote would be for JRPG's.

To be fair, I haven't played Oblivion, but I also cannot seem to muster enough of a desire to give it a chance.

Now FFXIII, I'm going utterly insane with anticipation
