I honestly don't have a string of phrases vulgar enough to express myself.

I'm gonna buy a dog and name him Wolverine in preparation for next summer's movie. I guarantee FOX and Marvel will pay for making him feel emotionally distressed and suicidal!

Batman, Turkey wasn't known as "Batman" until 1957. It was first known as Illuh.

First off, the title was misleading. I thought this was going to be about the next film.

As for the mayor of Batman, he is a ******* little piece of ****. He's only doing this because The Dark Knight was an uber success. If TDK had been on the level of Batman & Robin (wierd thought, isn't), he probably been doing something else, like stealing money from public funds or cutting wages. I mean, he just realized his town shares a name with our favorite bat hero.

I pray DC sues him for using the name. It would give me so much pleasure, it wouldn't be funny (at least, not for the mayor ).

It was called "The Dark Knight" and not "Batman," so that's one against them. Batman was created before their stupid town, too.

I guess we better prepare for even more lawsuits when Thanksgiving TURKEYS show up on TV commercials, etc.

There is a small town in Montana that voted and actually changed the town's name to Joe. They had this barn with all of his career stats painted on the side.

Yes but the disclaimer is about similarity to actual PERSONS. It does not say anything about people being similar to random cities in Europe. So, clearly, this is a valid lawsuit. =)

If anything that little town in Turkey should be partying and celebrating with the new Dark Knight release. Could be a fun scene!
