They have it right - Where has he been the past 70 years? Lol. Just looking to cash in. Perhaps he did not notice the DISCLAIMER at the end of most (if not all) films that clearly states -

"The events and characters depicted in this motion picture are fictitious. Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental."

What a knob. Should invade their little hole and take their oil, that would give them something to cry about.

This is hilarious!

My favorite part is this:
"Kalkan claims the emotional distress that apparently comes from having one of the most indelible superheroes share a moniker with your town has led to several unsolved murders and a high suicide rate."

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

My response to this is not surprising and will be one little whisper among the many of hundreds of exact same replies, but nonetheless, here it goes...

The mayor of Batman, Turkey needs to be strapped to a gurney and beaten with hammers. If he has contributed to the gene pool of this already overcrowded chunk of dirt that we call a planet, then anyone involded with that particular miracle deserves to be on a gurney right beside him (that includes the doctors and nurses in the delivery room!)

Honestly. It's stories like this that makes me LOSE faith in humanity.

Ive heard rumors about the board meetings during the time of Batman's creation, my grandpa showed me the transcrips, ill post them up. Names are covered up for convidentiality reasons.

A: "So guys we need a real big super hero, any ideas?"

B: "Got a great one, lets make a super hero and base him off a sh1tty town in Turkey to cause great harm, emotional distress, high suicide rates and unsolved murders"

A: "Thats great, but won't they sue?"

B: "No, Ive got it covered boss, the name of the town is Batman, well just act like this is man obsessed with bats, little will anybody ever suspect that our real intent is to cause unresolvable harm to these people in Turkey"

A: "Thats brilliant! Anything else?"

B: "Yeah, so this Batman dude, he's got this sidekick, his name his Robin, he was a trapeeze artist and just tags along at Batman's side"

A: "Brilliant! We will cause great harm to the Turks and the Gheys, you're promoted!"
