I just played through both levels. I'm not as blown away the review, but it is pretty fun. I wonder if it's $60 worth of fun though?

I bet it's better with people online, I just played the single player. The AI is spot on for your helpers.

I played coop with a friend yesterday, it's much better than single player. The infected move fast, very fast. I did throw a Molotov on a witch and she pretty much took me down, luckily the rest of the group got her and revived me

Yeah, I played a few co-op sessions last night and it really makes it better. You have to ration out the supplies and it makes the alignment of the group more fun. I also enjoyed that randomness, because you could tell who had played before and not, but the fact that they attacked from different spots kept everyone enagaged equally. I also like that you cant hang out in an area too much, as they continue to seek you out after you clear a spot.

That witch is the WORST.

We only played a 2 player coop, the other 2 were AI. But you really do get a team environment feel of the game, especially when it comes to rations. I played through each of the 2 levels twice and yep they were random. Drops were in different places....although the ammo drops were in the same spot. I can see me playing this game alot, it's easy to pickup and play a few levels.

Yeah the witch is creepy and pretty much whoever wakes her, gets taken down instantly.

True. I thought 4 peoplpe was too much given the limited apace when I started, but realized it lends itself to smart teamwork, as you are as likely to get rushed from behind as in front. And I agree, it's an easy pick up and play, and a lot of fun.

I got to get more friends into it though, because if I have to say "Hey, don't shoot the car", and someone does it anyway....well, you know what happens.

Yep, we purposely did shoot the car on the coop game. The person I played the game with, I've known for about 6 yrs. We were just seeing how much we could take.

The first time I played it alone, I was just running through it, didn't make unnecessary noise, so when we hit the car, it was crazy. They are just crazy fast.

Its fun to shoot the car then run immediately to the safe room. You can gun down the horde as they funnel down the stairs through that small opening.

zingore0711 on both live and PSN.

Didn't get it in yesterday like I hoped, but the 360 in the bedroom got an E74 error so it's going back to MS to get fixed (I bought it used cheap, and it's still under warranty) so I would have to play it in the living room when the kids are already out for the night. Not a game to play around 3 & 4 year olds

Don't usually play games much until the weekend anyway, but add me if you want and we can defintiely try and play. I'll have it tonight, and may even try to get on then if I'm not too tired.

Agree. I think this article even states that it's better on the PC if you have a higher end system. I just happen to like playing games on the 360 (or PS3) better, even though my PC has better graphics.

I'll add you when I get a chance. I really don't play that much, maybe just once a week er so, usually on the weekends. Wife/child take up much of my time along with my project, see sig. But I hear ya about not playing in front of them, totally agree. I'd do the same thing.

I'll probably be on possibly friday, but for sure either sat/sun... I'm in Mountain time zone btw...

This game is amazing! I played the 360 version last night at a friends house. I could never get sick of this game too much fun. The versus mode is amazing. I recommend this game for any horror genre fan!

Am I the only one dissapointed in this game? I expected more from VALVe. This offers nothing new. It's what RE: Outbreak did years ago. And that was horrible.
All you do is shoot your way from point "A" to point "B". Like the guy said, "All we did is cross the street". My brother-in-law loves it cause he has A.D.D.
If I hear, "reloading" one more time, I'm gonna blow a vein!
