I'd say about 800,000 & I'll be one of them. Just got my new speakers and am sooo excited to watch this.

This movie is the reason that I switched to Blu. I wanted to treat this movie as good as possible.

The economy is tanking and many people are out of work. I say first week sales will be between 150,000 and 200,000 BDs at most. The only way it can go higher is if retailers discount it to $19.99 when it comes out. As for old ray DVDs? The first-week sales figure will be much higher: perhaps 500,000.

Perhaps 500k for DVD??? Are you having a laugh, if it doesn't sell AT LEAST 5 million DVD Warner will slash their wrists.

This will be the biggest selling BD to date and might be the first BD to out sale a DVD. If Warner can meet the million copies it's suppose to have avail for release date.

Every one with a Blu-Ray player is going to buy this so it's going to overtime sell at least 10 million.

I think it will just miss the 1 million units mark on the first week out.
That said, I think the attach rate of Dark Knight to players sold through the holiday and new years will nearly be 1:1. I think it'll go to 1million units before January 1.
