Tyler Durden over Darth Vader, Han Solo, AND Vito / Michael Corleone

whole list is void in my eyes.

This list seems completely random to me. Looks like they put it together in a few minutes.

In all honesty ,
Number 1 should be a movie icon who's been in at least two movies
or someone that is timeless.

I didn't even know it was Brad Pitt when I saw the picture. Never saw Fight Club. Vader is the ultimate bad ass. You can ask anybody and they know who Vader is. Some of characters I agree with but I think some of the higher ranking ones should have been further down the list. Dirty Harry, everybody knows who he is, just like Indiana Jones.

Also I dont agree with Capn Jack and The Joker being in the top 10, the top 10 SHOULD have been characters who have aged well and have been around more than 3 years...

While I agree that placing him at number one is a stretch, don't forget that Tyler Durden was a great character and does belong on the list (I'd have placed him somewhere between 15-20 personally). It's kind of pointless to bicker about placement order with lists like this (debate? sure! anger? ). It's as subjective as something can possibly get. The key to these lists is inclusion, not order. It reminds me of the Academy awards (or any award show really). Somebody's gotta win for the sake of the show, but usually any nominee is just as good as the other with the occasional stand out.

For the record, my top 3 would probably be Darth Vader, Indiana Jones, and Hannibal Lecter. That could possibly change with more time and thought.
