Good Thread...I've noticed that in my previous apt, I had my 50" almost 10-12ft away from me, and it was great PQ. I've noticed in my newer place, which is alot bigger, except for the living room, im sitting abou 4-5ft away on the 50. Not only is it starting to hurt my eyes, but, it doesnt look as sharp as it used to

Thing is I have a 46" set , it seemed big enough when I got it
but a little bigger would be nice.
I have a 40" and sit about 10' away and like you I thought it was big enough at first, but now I'm thinking it would be nice to have a 50" or 60". Guess I'll have to wait a couple of years now as the next big purchase for entertainment is a new surround system. I cheaped out on the last one just to get me by for a few months as my good one died on me after 7 years.

92" screen - 10' back. Though I'd like to make a new screen that's even bigger... With 1080p, bigger is always better!!

About 14' in both the bedroom and the family room.

Family room is a 46" 1080p LCD, just upgraded from a 34" 1080i CRT.

Bedroom is a 40" 1080p LCD, upgraded several months ago from a 27" SD TV.
