Default Scratched Plasma Screen

Yikes. I know this is super expensive but I have a pretty decent scratch on my Panny 50" plasma, wondering how to find out how much it is to fix (replace).

Any info would help.

Damn you sure it wasn't a lion.
Depending upon where you live, just search for local repair shops and give them a call and see what they say, if thats not good then just try calling Panasonic up and see what they say.

I know this sounds crazy, but have you tried using car wax/compound on it?

Use the cat to buff it out, (be sure and tell the cat, "We're going to do this until this scratch comes out".) Be sure to be looking directly into his eyes when you say this so you can savor the horrified expression - other than that, yeah, I got nothing.

That sucks dude. Sorry to hear about your tv.

I havnt tried anything, yet... It happened all of 2 hours ago..

I'm thinking he just broke the protective covering on it, not actually scratching the glass. Is there a way I can check?

NEVER do this! All screens have an anti glare coating and this will remove it...
