I guess I am wrong -- but only partially. DVDTalk review of the Blu says there are 3 featurettes on the actual making of the film, but Paula Wagner is the only "contemporary" interview, with all other clips taken from the archives.

I don't remember what it was priced at, but if it's under $10 I might pick it up..

Four featurettes offer an overview of the production aspects of the film, and feature new or recent interviews with De Palma, Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Jon Voight and other members of the cast and crew, as well as actual CIA operatives to lend the proceedings an air of authenticity.

I don't understand why anyone would buy these when the whole trilogy has been remastered with lossloss audio for other countries and is just sitting there waiting to be released in the US.

While I think "Ghost Protocol" and the sequel to the original are pretty good. I only really want the first one somewhat for the sake of completeness of Brian De Palma films.

And as far as better quality versions overseas, these movies have been re-issued so many times here in the United States, I doubt we'll ever get those versions, unless/until the next sequel and then maybe another box set?

I just want a remastered 1st one. The 3rd and 4th already look good to me. The first one is slightly better than VHS quality.

I want Paramount to do another set with the first three remastered in AVC with lossless tracks, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol looks and sounds amazing already.

If Paramount released the AVC version of 1 in the US, I would get it.
