The cable should be fine. Metal Gear Solid 4 looks incredible.

My TV should be alright, regular HDTV looks great. Video games also look awesome.

I wouldn't quite go that far, but Step Brothers does have a very good transfer.

To the OP, calibrate your set. It does wonders.

No, just once. Once it's properly set up, your TV will save those settings.
